Walnut Spice Rack

One of our kitchen drawers is overflowing with spices and to make more room for other stuff (like the gazillion food containers we keep hoarding), I built a simple spice rack from walnut (duh).

Knife rack
Used my newish Holzstar benchtop planer to plane three small boards. Dust extraction is a joke on this machine. Also lots of snipe.

I store the biscuit cookies in my shed and I think they swelled somewhat due to all the moisture as they were a very tight fit. I sanded them back somewhat (also sanding a bit from my fingers in the process, ouch) so they fit better. It was still a messy glue up with me grasping for extra clamps.
