Another mother's day present made from walnut leftovers.

Design

I tried modelling the design I had in my head in Sketchup but these kind of shapes always do my head in so I gave up on that. So I did a little prototyping on some pine leftovers first and then went to work with some walnut.

First took off the lower corners using a belt sander, seemed like the easiest way.

Drew out the lines to where I had to sand off the rest of the faces.

Some linseed oil and it's done! Will probably make a larger one in the future.
