Compost station from reclaimed wood

— 2 minute read

Our old compost station was falling apart so I did what every self-respecting woodworker does, look online for free reclaimed wood to make a new one.

Reclaimed wood permalink

I picked up a whole batch of reclaimed wood and stuffed it in the back of our car and also on top of our roof rack. I did not take any pictures as I might have crossed some legal limit of the number of nailed-filled beams stacked in and on your car. It is probably douglas fir.

The best lumber is free lumber
I spent an ungodly amount of time pulling nails.

Assembly permalink

I cut all the pieces to length and went straight to assembling with screws. No plans for this, just went with it.
